Hey!
Nice to meet you!
This is Lauren, the face behind Salta Creative. With 12 years of working in the design world, she has collected some amazing clients and brands to her portfolio.
Based in Sydney and working remotely from her home office, she has been in the freelance game now for over 7 years.
One of Lauren’s clients dubbed her a ‘Design Unicorn’.
She is an all-rounder. Her work includes all things print and digital, concept creation & development, editorial design, social and web asset creation, packaging design, photo and video editing. She works with a variation of different industries, including beauty, fashion, retail, charity, food and beverage, health, sport, events and homeware.
Lauren’s designs have taken her all over the world, from freelancing around England for major brands including Asics, THG and Boots; to working for Clarins in Sydney as their Senior Graphic Designer, Canterbury of New Zealand’s Graphic Designer and Artworker for Matalan, both in Manchester.
Designing conceptual planning for branded campaign shoots; she design decks to show the project as a 360 campaign, including storyboarding for photography & videography and how the concept would look across social, website & email. Artwork and design wise, Lauren works on anything print based, from look books, catalogues, POS and window graphics, to creating digital content through emails, social posts and website graphics.
One of her favourite things to do is travel around in her self (all done by her husband, Rich) built campervan, with her partner and dog, Bowie. They recently completed a 6-month trip around Europe, all while working from her little home on wheels with a different office view every day.
As well as working as a Creative Designer, Lauren also works as an artist in her free time. She has travelled all over the world and created her memories on a canvas. Taking inspiration from oceans, skies and landscapes, Lauren paints with a mixture of different mediums to create cell wave effects.
Inspiration changes depending on where she is living or travelling at that time. While being at home in the north west of England, she misses the big blue; and after living on the north shore of Sydney for 4 years and the surfer town of Noosa in Australia, ocean views were an every day occurrence. Her travels around the Islands of Hawaii, South East Asia, Thailand, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Vietnam and Indonesia heavily influenced her art.
Lauren’s art has been featured in Vanity Fair magazine.
